BSC's production opened March 26 and has been one of the strongest community theatre showings Las Vegas has seen in years. Las Vegas premiere of NBT's reimagined Brothers Grimm production, drawing visual inspiration from 1930s black-and-white cinema and Buster Keaton physical comedy. The Ice Cream Witch. Costume design by Oscar winner Kate Hawley (Frankenstein, Crimson Peak). NBT doesn't often swing this conceptually — this one is worth your attention.

Tony Award-winning musical comedy (Best Book, Robert Horn; score by Grammy winners Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally). A corn-pun extravaganza that is fully committed to its premise and never apologizes for it. Best audience: anyone who wants to be entertained for two hours without being challenged. There is nothing wrong with that.

Alicia Keys' semi-autobiographical musical about 17-year-old Ali finding her voice in 1990s New York City. The tour brings the full Broadway creative team: Michael Greif directing, Camille A. Brown choreographing, Peter Nigrini on projections. Maya Drake leads as Ali. Six nights at Reynolds Hall to close the season. This is the one.
